National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

TJ Paulus is an electrical engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. 

During World War II, Paulus’s parents housed women working at Oak Ridge at their home in Knoxville, Tennessee. Paulus first became interested in science as a child. He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD from the University of Tennessee.

Over the course of his career, Paulus has conducted research in nuclear instrumentation and electronics, including on nuclear reactor reflood studies and positron imaging for medical purposes.
