Francis Bernard “Bernie” Donlan was an American photographer and a clerk at the Chicago Met Lab during the Manhattan Project.

Donlan was born in Chicago in 1915. Prior to World War II, he ran his own photography business and later worked as a photographer for the Acme Steel Company. Donlan joined the Chicago Met Lab in July 1943, where he worked as a clerk in the Chemistry Division under Glenn Seaborg. Donlan was the supervisor of the Service Group, where many of the laboratory assistants worked. His responsibilities included property management and handling laboratory equipment.

Donlan left the Manhattan Project in September 1944.
