Solomon “Sol” Wexler (1919-1996) was an American chemist.

Wexler was born in Milwaukee and received a B.S. from the University of Chicago. Soon after, he was hired to work on the Manhattan Project in the Chemistry Division of the Chicago Met Lab. He also worked at Los Alamos.

After the war, Wexler went on to work at Argonne National Laboratory.

Wexler died in 1996 in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
