Donald Webster was a research assistant at the Chicago Met Lab during the Manhattan Project. He received a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University and was working for the DuPont Company when he was contracted to work at Chicago. He went on to work at Oak Ridge and Hanford as well. Webster also worked at the Argonne National Laboratory after the war.

Michael Angelich served as a 1st lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the bombardier of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
