Margaret H. Dike was born in Prescott, Arizona, and she grew up in Cimarron, New Mexico. Before the war, Dike worked at the Department of Terrestrial Magnetism in Washington, DC.
W. E. Foster worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Roy Schroeder was a laboratory assistant at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.
