Elwin Covey was an assistant and protégé to Glenn Seaborg, and spent most of his time with the Manhattan Project at the X-10 plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Clare Whitehead joined the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) in 1943. After training in the Manhattan Engineer District and working in Oak Ridge, she transferred to Hanford, where she was a secretary for military intelligence.
J. C. Ridenour worked for the Roane-Anderson Company.
M. P. Lafleur worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
