Louis Slotin (1910-1946) was a Canadian physicist. Shortly after World War II, he died from radiation sickness contracted during a dangerous experiment conducted at Los Alamos.
Colonel James Marshall (1897-1977) was district engineer of the Manhattan Engineer District. Marshall earned a position in the Army Corps of Engineers during his years at West Point.
