Elsie Mae Freeman was born in Missouri in 1900. She graduated high school in Chicago. After graduating, Elsie was recruited to work in a lab at the University of Chicago in 1919.
Ina Irene Cooper worked on the Manhattan Project for Union Carbide and Carbon Company and for Ford, Bacon, and Davis in Oak Ridge, TN, in 1944-45.
Attended Carnegie Technical Institute.
