Ralph R. Taylor, Jr. served as a major in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the commander of the B-29 Full House, which served as a weather reconnaissance plane on the Hiroshima bombing mission, and the backup strike plane on Iwo Jima on the Nagasaki mission.
Charles Lindsey, Jr. served in the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron.
Daniel J. Keefe was a security guard at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Garrison worked at the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
