Hinginio A. Baca served as a private first class in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.
Clifford E. Foster served in the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron.

James Forde joined the Manhattan Project in 1944 when he was hired by the Union Carbide and Carbon Company to work at the Nash Garage Building at Columbia University, where scientists worked on developing the gaseous diffusion process.
