Hymer Friedell was the deputy medical director of the Manhattan Engineer District at Oak Ridge. He worked closely with Robert Stone and Stafford Warren in studying the effects of radiation on the human body.
Dorothy Dunaway was a stenographer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Attended Lehigh University.
Ardes Shea (née Memmott) worked in a DuPont office at Hanford, WA during the Manhattan Project. Ardes was born in Scipio, Utah in December of 1922.
