John William Starner joined the Manhattan Project in December 1943 as a member of the Special Engineer Detachement at Los Alamos.
After graduating from Williams College, Paul Wilkinson joined the Manhattan Project. He arrived in Oak Ridge in 1943, where he was sent to the Y-12 plant.
Mathias A. Klinger was a security guard at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Victor Defender worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
