Nathan Ballou (1919-2016) was an American chemist. He was born in 1919 in Rochester, Minnesota. In 1941 he received a bachelor’s degree from the Duluth State Teachers College (now the University of Minnesota Duluth).
Carl Helrich (1895-1971) was a civil engineer for the J.A. Construction Company from 1943 to 1945 and helped construct the Oak Ridge town site and plant area.
John Moriarity was a procurement officer at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
