Franklin B. Wimer served as a second lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the navigator regularly assigned to the B-29 Next Objective.
Doris Allen (1915-2013) was a nurse in the hospital at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Born in Decatur, Illinois, Allen graduated from the Washington University School of Nursing in 1943.
Daniel N. Koshland was a research assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Dunbar worked in the United States Engineer District Office.
