John William Starner joined the Manhattan Project in December 1943 as a member of the Special Engineer Detachement at Los Alamos.
William M. Rowe Jr. served in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was the regularly assigned pilot for the Big Stink, and he and his crew were later reassigned to Luke the Spook.

Sarah Archer worked as a nurse at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. She was responsible for monitoring the radiation levels of the Calutron operators at the Y-12 Plant.
