Dr. Michele Gerber, Ph.D, is the official Hanford Site Historian. Gerber aided early efforts to declassify the Hanford site documents and served on the National Academy of the Sciences Committee on Declassification of Department of Energy Documents.
William E. Egger served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Necessary Evil.
Theodore “Ted” Hall (1925-1999) was an American physicist and an atomic spy who passed along detailed information about the implosion-type “Fat Man” bomb and several processes for purifying plutonium to the Soviet Union.
