Julius M. Simmons was an American chemist. He worked as a research assistant at the Metallurgical Laboratory in Chicago during the Manhattan Project.

William R. Compronio served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Some Punkins.
