Frederick J. Shon (1926-2000) worked on the Manhattan Project at Columbia University. Born in New York City in 1926, Shon was recruited to work on the Manhattan Project while pursuing his undergraduate degree at Columbia.
Dennis Dwyer was a security guard at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Woodrow Evans worked as a mechanic on the alpha racetracks at the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee from March 1944 to October 1945.
Ray Belcher served in the 1395th Military Police Company, Aviation.
