William Crum was born on September 4, 1925, in Hancock County, IL. He was the seventh of eight siblings who grew up on a farm in Western Illinois near the Mississippi River.
William "Dag" Norwood came to Hanford in March 1944, where he worked as DuPont's Medical Director.
W. D. Lavers worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
McCloud worked as a secretary at the Y-12 plant at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project.
