Wayne Marshall was a research associate at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project. According to the Journal of Glenn T. Seaborg, Vol. 2, he was assigned to spectrographic work in George Boyd’s Purification Group (p. 2).
