Lucien Nerman was a security guard at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Arthur L. Hughes was an British/Welsh physicist. He worked on the Manhattan Project in St. Louis on the cyclotron and plutonium production and at Los Alamos, NM.
Frederick J. Shon (1926-2000) worked on the Manhattan Project at Columbia University. Born in New York City in 1926, Shon was recruited to work on the Manhattan Project while pursuing his undergraduate degree at Columbia.
Peggy Dickson moved to Oak Ridge in the fall of 1944, when she was 14 years old. Her father, Charles Russell Dickson, Sr.
