William Crum was born on September 4, 1925, in Hancock County, IL. He was the seventh of eight siblings who grew up on a farm in Western Illinois near the Mississippi River.
Genevieve Turner was a staff worker at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
F. C. Uffelman worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant. His ex-wife Jane, also worked on the Manhattan Project.
