Roy W. Carlson was an engineer. He worked on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos and the University of California, Berkeley, as a member of the Explosives Division and Group X-2A.
J. P. Moore worked as a chemist for US Vanadium Company and then as Chief Chemist at Grand Junction, CO, where he analyzed uranium.
Julius “Jay” Foster arrived at Oak Ridge from Princeton in 1944 to aid in the development of the K-25 plant.
