National Museum of Nuclear Science & History

Dr. Richard Baker worked at the Ames Laboratory before transferring to Los Alamos. Considered the father of plutonium chemistry, Baker had a long career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He lived on Bathtub House in the home that is now known as the Baker House in his honor.
