C. A. McAlister worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Nicholas Constantine Metropolis was born on June 11th, 1915, in Chicago. In 1936 he received his bachelor’s degree, and in 1941, his doctorate, both from the University of Chicago, and both in experimental physics.
Merrill Garrett worked at the Y-12 Plant at Oak Ridge, TN during the Manhattan Project. A high school football star, Garrett received an appointment to the United States Military Academy, but was forced to decline due to financial circumstances during the Great Depression.
Hall worked in the United States Engineer District Office.
