Derward A. Stevens served as a corporal in the 393rd bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Strange Cargo.
Robert Serber (1909-1997) was an American physicist. He was recruited by J. Robert Oppenheimer to work on the Manhattan Project.
