Albert Bartlett was born in Shanghai. He went on to attend Colgate University. After graduation, Bartlett was selected for the Manhattan Project because of his background in physics.
C. W. Schersten worked for Clinton Laboratories at the X-10 Reactor.
Mark Fred was a research assistant in the chemistry division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
C. O. Carpenter worked for the Roane-Anderson Company.
