Albert Cahn, Jr. (1910-1978) was a junior physicist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Thornton worked at the 300 Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Joseph H. Laird graduated from Harvard University in 1942 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. During the war, Laird became a member of the Special Engineer Detachment, where he served as an industrial inspector at Tennessee Eastman Corporation in Oak Ridge.
