Anthony J. (“Tony”) Matz was a procurement officer at the University of Chicago Met Lab. He helped obtain, handle, and move many of the materials for Chicago Pile-1 and witnessed it going critical on December 2, 1942.
J. T. Harvey worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
G. M. Lyle worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
Carl W. Rein served as a staff sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned first to Luke the Spook and later to Big Stink.
