Cornelius Ridner was a staff worker at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
Robert J. Stock served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned as a tail gunner to the Bockscar, but did not fly on that plane during the Nagasaki bombing mission in August of 1945.
