Paul Numerof (1922-2013) was an American chemist.

In his early years, Numerof studied at Temple University. He volunteered for the Army after the outbreak of World War II and was assigned to serve in the Special Engineer Detachment (SED) at Los Alamos. During his time there, Numerof worked on the uranium purification process.

After the war, Numerof went to earn his Ph.D. at the Carnegie Institute of Technology. He went on to work at E. R. Squibb and Sons, where he was the head of the Division of Nuclear Medicine.

Paul Numerof died on January 12, 2013, in St. Louis.
