Rosario Martinez Fiorillo grew up in northern New Mexico during the Manhattan Project. Her ancestors were Hispano homesteaders who built the Romero Cabin, an important pre-Manhattan Project structure at Los Alamos.
Dayton Ernest Carritt was born on March 12, 1915 in Boston, Massachusetts. He worked as a chemist at the Los Alamos Lab from 1943 to 1946.
