Ruth Hillard was a technician at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
In 1942 Gordon joined the Radiation Laboratory at the Berkeley campus. He worked at the Davis campus as well.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from New York University, Hal Behl registered with the National Roster of Scientific and Specialized Personnel and was drafted into the Army.
