Robert Joseph Maurer (1913-1995) was an American physicist. Maurer received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1939 and was one of Lee DuBridge‘s last students before DuBridge left to head the Radiation Laboratory at MIT.
Matthew Sands (1919-2014) was an American physicist. In 1943, Matthew Sands began working for the Naval Ordnance Laboratory and developed two types of influence mines before being disillusioned by the bureaucracy of the navy.
Arnold E. Sleipnes served as a techical sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Top Secret.
