Alan Upson Seybolt was a metallurgist who worked at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Seybolt married Dorothea “Dot” Hoover Seybolt, and the couple had two sons.
Born in 1903 in Baltimore, Mackie studied civil engineering at Union College in Schenectady, New York.
Clyde R. Emery worked in the shop at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
