Clyde Stanley Shields was born on December 28, 1918 in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from Mitchell High School in South Dakota, in May of 1936, Shields enlisted in the South Dakota National Guard.
Williams worked at the 200 East Area at Hanford during the Manhattan Project.
Wayne L. McComas served in the 1st Ordnance Squadron.
Harold Symons worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
