Harold Lichtenberger was a research assistant at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Frank Willox was a machinist and mechanic in Hanford, Washington from 1943 to 1970. He came to Hanford from Colorado in late 1943 and stayed on after the war.
John H. Hubeny, Jr. served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew regularly assigned to the B-29 Strange Cargo.
