Ben Benjamin was a sergeant in the Special Engineer Detachment during the Manhattan Project. He had previously worked in industry making lenses and prisms, and was assigned to the Optics Group to help with photographing the Trinity Test.
Beverly W. Lewis was a chemist at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
William B. Reedy served as a corporal in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the ground crew on the B-29 Full House.
Wiley H. Davis served in the 1st Ordnance Squadron.
