Peter Oppenheimer is a carpenter, and the son of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Early Life Peter was born in 1941 in California, and moved with his parents to Los Alamos when his father became the course director of Los Alamos [National] Laboratory.
George Ponton served in the Special Engineer Detatchment (SED) at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
Isidor Rabi was an American physicist and the winner of the 1944 Nobel Prize in Physics. Rabi was born in Raymanov in 1898, in what was then Austria-Hungary.
