Elsie Mae Freeman was born in Missouri in 1900. She graduated high school in Chicago. After graduating, Elsie was recruited to work in a lab at the University of Chicago in 1919.
Conen served as a first lieutenant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He participated in the mission to bomb Hiroshima as a flight engineer for the Top Secret.
George C. Marshall (1880 – 1959) was the Chief of Staff of the US Army and recipient of the 1953 Nobel Peace Prize.
