Walter R. Julek was a laboratory helper at the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
Ethel Schwartz arrived as a bride with with her husband, Manuel Schwartz, at Los Alamos in 1944. She worked in the office until she became pregnant with her son, Joel Schwartz, who was born there after the bombs were dropped on November 4, 1945.
Annen worked for Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation.
