Lawrence White was a member of the Military Police at Los Alamos. White was recruited for the assignment out of basic training at Camp Lee, Virginia. He completed a number of assignments between June 1946 and September 1947, including administrative help in Provost Marshall's Office, the Special Investigators unit, and the Motor Patrol Officers unit.
