The X-10 Graphite Reactor at Oak Ridge

John Arthur "Jack" Robinson was a machinist and instrument maker at the Clinton Engineering Works in Oak Ridge, Tennesse in 1943. Robinson worked in the X-10 graphite reactor facility on the request of the DuPont Chemical Company. He was active in labor, and was selected as the person to represent labor at the awarding of the Army/Navy E Award ceremony for the Oak Ridge operations. He continued working at the X-10 facility until his retirement in August 1974.
