Martha Zukas was a nurse at Oak Ridge and Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. One of nine children, Zukas grew up in Ellwood City, PA.
Van Reid worked for the United States Engineer District Office. He was in charge of housing layout in the early history of Oak Ridge and had nearly 10 years of service.
Technical Sergeant Wyatt E. Duzenbury was born on April 6, 1913. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942.
