Nora Dene Lawson worked as a calutron operator at the Y-12 Separations Plant in Oak Ridge, TN during the Manhattan Project.
Served with the 216th AAF Base Unit at Wendover Airfield and at Los Alamos between May and December of 1945.
Duane Sewell began working with the Manhattan Project in 1941. He was one of the first people to arrive at Oak Ridge and experienced first-hand some of the difficulties there with cyclotrons and isotope separation.
