Carroll “Red” Gordon (1919-2008) was a machinist at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. Gordon was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 15, 1919.
Majory Danberg worked in the stenographic and clerical division of the University of Chicago’s Metallurgical Laboratory (“Met Lab”) during the Manhattan Project.
A native of the West Virginia mountains, C. N. Gross came to Hanford in January, 1944, from Wilmington, to be a reactor consultant.
