William T. Allman, Jr. was born in Richmond, Virginia on December 26, 1917. He joined the army before Pearl Harbor, in an attempt to finish his military service before returning to school.
J. D. Hayes worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
