Thomas Braswell worked on the assembly line for Mallinckrodt Chemical, a civilian contractor for the Manhattan Project in St.
Anthony D. Capua, Jr. served as a sergeant in the 393rd Bombardment Squadron. He was regularly assigned as an assistant engineer/scanner in the Up An’ Atom, but did not fly in that plane in the August 1945 bombing missions on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
B. W. Menke worked for the United States Engineer District Office.
H. L. Small worked for the Kellex Corporation at the K-25 Plant.
