N. N. Barwick worked for the Tennessee Eastman Corporation at the Y-12 Plant.
During WWII, Dr. Arthur Sucsy worked as a chemist on the Y-12 Plant at Oak Ridge, TN. Dr. Sucsy worked with a team of scientists responsible for examining the physical and chemical properties of uranium.
Frederick J. Shon (1926-2000) worked on the Manhattan Project at Columbia University. Born in New York City in 1926, Shon was recruited to work on the Manhattan Project while pursuing his undergraduate degree at Columbia.
Bill J. DeWoody served in the 603rd Air Engineering Squadron.
