Warren Sharp was a chemical engineer employed at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Sharp assisted with the gaseous diffusion process as a civilian after unsuccessfully trying to enlist in military service.
Isidor Rabi was an American physicist and the winner of the 1944 Nobel Prize in Physics. Rabi was born in Raymanov in 1898, in what was then Austria-Hungary.
